You do not sign up and you do not sign in. Nothing you type here is linked to a name, an email address or a profile.
What is stored when you play
Each run creates a row holding the challenge you played, a random token, the guesses you typed, whether each was right, and your final score. The guesses are stored so the game can count attempts and so we can spot spellings we should be accepting.
We also store a one-way hash of your IP address. It cannot be turned back into an address; it exists only to spot abuse.
Cookies
One cookie, the session cookie, which remembers where you are in a challenge so a refresh does not lose your place. It expires when you close the browser. No advertising or tracking cookies are set.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file. Nothing about your game is sent with it.
